In my nightly hunts I came across a blog that I must mention here today especially since mine deals largely with anti-war topics. The blog is Peace Action Blog here on wordpress.
They are in need of people to contact congress to stop the war funds that are due to be voted on today or tomorrow. All of the information is at that site. Please contact them for all the info and leave comments at that site. Thanks a million!
Please call your Congressperson and Senators today (you can call the Capitol switchboard at 202-224-3121 and ask for your Representative and Senators) and tell them to vote NO on this war funding bill. Tell them to stop enabling Bush’s quagmire, and to support the troops by ending the war and bringing them home.

After a nearly four-month standoff between the Democratic-controlled Congress and the White House, the House and Senate passed a war funding bill Thursday evening that does not contain timetables for the withdrawal of U.S. troops.
