US War Vets to Speak Publicly About War Crimes

by Aaron Glantz

SAN FRANCISCO — U.S. war veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan have announced they’re planning to descend on Washington, DC this March to testify about war crimes they committed or personally witnessed in Iraq. More…

I went through this article on Common Dreams and asked the same question that appeared in the comments section, Why March?  Well, there are over 67 comments there many of which ask the same question while others attempted to provide the answer. The phrase “Winter Soldier Investigation” popped up and in following this I came up with this link:   and this video a MUST SEE:

Interview with Scott Camil – Winter Soldier

Interview with Scott Camil – Winter Soldier
About This Video

Added: January 05, 2007 WINTER SOLDIER: Excerpts from an exclusive 2005 interview with Scott Camil – organizer of Vietnam Vets Against the War. Scott’s interview preceeded a Gainesville showing of WINTER SOLDIER – a movie of such embarrassment to the US government that promotion of the film was “locked-out” of US theatres but was shown widely in Europe.
Scott reveals disturbing similarities of ‘Nam and Iraq that remind us of the false wisdom of teaching our sons and daughters to commit organized murder.

I found a number of the comments to be quite interesting, some with links to other sources.

This article appears in both One World Net and Common Dreams.
