Student Antiwar Walkouts Spark Small Town Backlash

While on my usual nightly hunt across the net I came upon an interesting article over at The Indypendent. Its the sort of news that does not make the mainstream media and therefore many never get to see or hear. Thanks to The Indypendent it has gotten out and I am passing on the link to the story here.

In protest of the Iraq War and military recruitment in their schools, an estimated 1,000 high school students walked out of classrooms in at least a dozen towns and cities across western Washington state Nov. 16. It is good to see that the young are protesting against military recruitment and not falling for their manipulations.
