US Diplomats Meet Burmese Leaders

 

Two senior US envoys have held separate talks with Burmese Prime Minister Thein Sein and detained pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

The most senior US official to visit Myanmar for a decade and a half held talks with Aung San Suu Kyi after the ruling junta allowed the detained Nobel laureate to make a rare public appearance.
